Austin Dog Alliance has formed a partnership with Odyssey Health Care of Austin to provide Pet Assisted Therapy to hospice patients.  Odyessey Health Care of Austin has over 64 facilities in a 7 county area.

After a team passes the Delta Pet Partners evaluation, Odyessey Health Care will provide a three hour training session on working in a hospice environment.  A TB test will be required and will be paid for by Odyssey Health Care.  The minimum requirement of time is one hour per month.  Odyessey provides social events and ongoing training opportunities for it’s volunteers.
