What: jjPaws in the Park
Local food vendors, dog groomers, a pet photographer, a canine massage therapist, vets, boutiques and other pet related business will have booths showcasing their products and services. Listen to music from our main stage while enjoying all the fun activities. Event t-shirts will be available for $5. The first 500 attendees will receive a goody bag. To obtain a booth permit or sponsor the event, please download our sponsorship packet. For more information please contact us. What: jjFoster Dog Volunteer Training Instructor: Debi Krakar, Executive Director of Austin Dog Alliance This course is FREE, but registration is required: Have you ever considered fostering a dog? Are you a bit nervous about introducing a dog into your home? Are you worried about potty training? Austin Dog Alliance is please to present a seminar all about fostering shelter dogs. Topics include:
This semiar will be presented by Debi Krakar. Debi has fostered over 300 dogs in the last five years and is currently handling dog selection and initial vet care for Austin Dog Alliance. She will speak from experience on all the ins and outs of fostering a shelter dog. At the end of the seminar, we will discuss the adoption process for Austin Dog Alliance.
