Toby is a tiny little boy full of love. He came to us through the Town Lake Animal Shelter as a stray. He is very sweet and loves getting pets and just hanging around with you. He is new to the foster program and more will be known about him soon.

Once upon a time, there was a Princess named Jasmine. Here is Jasmine's life story so far.

Princess Jasmine lived in a small castle on a hillside in a place called Heartville. Princess Jasmine had several sisters & brothers that lived in the castle with her, along with the Queen Mom of the castle. The Queen was very nice to Jasmine and gave her wonderful things to eat and lots of love. The Queen was getting older and her health wasn't so good. It got so hard for the Queen to get out of bed to let us out for potty breaks and playtime. So hard, that she didn't know what to do. It broke the Queens heart, but then she had an idea.

The Queen asked the Duke nephew if he could help her with Princess Jasmine & the rest of the family. The Duke agreed, but got tired of taking care of things that weren't his. The Duke just figured if he exiled the family outside, he wouldn't have to deal with the daily chores of potty breaks, feeding, water and attention. So out the door we went, into the back yard. It was miserable, being outside in the hot & cold, with little food and water and no love and attention.

When I & my family were finally rescued by the good Earl Animal Control, we were in pretty bad shape. I was tied to a post in the backyard on the end of an electrical cord. I ended up at the Heartville Shelter Inn, where they gave us good food, lots of water and some much needed attention. How was I able to tell this story you ask? Well the wonderful Earl Animal Control made a point to stop and tell my new Queen Foster Mom. He was very happy that I was getting a second chance at a new home. I'm not looking for sympathy, just to be the Princess in your castle. Does anyone need a Princess?

Meet Zeke, the border collie with black polka dots on his ears! Zeke is a happy guy...even before he was taken from the shelter, he gave a smile and wagged his tail! He knew that would steal our hearts and it did!

He is still fairly young at only 10 months, and appears to be very trainable. He usually responds well to basic commands though his high energy level requires a little patience.

Zeke loves to play and never seems to get tired! He likes to take long walks and go exploring. He would be happiest with a family who has a lot of energy and time to spend with him. His tail is always wagging!

I am Archie, named after the comic book character. My foster dad says I need a light and easy name with a little fun!

I am living in a foster home and growing into the kind of guy I am meant to be. I love hanging out, playing outside and can even take a jog with you!



My foster dad says I am an 'easy' dog! He says I like to play, but don't demand it. Walk great on a leash, but don't need it! ( I stay by his side) Like to hang out, but will go off by myself and take a nap. I come when he calls 'Archie!" and sit when he asks me to. Yeah, guess that does make me sound easy!

I am a big boy, but no 'big' maintenance here...medium to low energy guy with a big heart and lots of love. Meet soon? Please!

Patch Adams is a cute little snuggle bug who already has his basic commands down. He is loving and sweet and will crawl in your lap if you let him. Just like the character, Patch Adams, he brings a big smile to your face with his lopsided grin and happy way.

Patch would be good with older children but his size may be a little too much for the wee ones. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He went to visit a house with cats and sniffed around for them but didn't see any of them. He didn't seem overly excited by their scent but we'll keep testing and offer more info as we get it.

Patch is a medium to high energy dog and loves to play and run. So all you joggers and runners out there...here is a new partner! Patch likes to play with other dogs and would probably have fun in a home with another dog to play with and some room to run.

Patch loves to train and would probably love agility, rally or fly ball. He is going to take a tricks class with his foster mom so he'll have some fun new tricks to show off soon! Patch is potty trained and crate trained. He does bark at strangers sometimes but he is receiving training for that issue and will just need someone who can follow up on this training with him.

So, all you people out there who want a running partner, line up, let's race!

Maisy is a gentle and sweet girl. She gets along well with children and other dogs. She has a greyhound like physique and is thought to probably be an American Foxhound/Whippet mix.

Maisy loves to be outside and would do well in a country home. She loves to play with other dogs. If your dog needs a buddy, Maisy may be the perfect pal.

Harley here. I'm a relaxed kind of guy. I love hanging out and doing whatever. If you are going to leave me for a while, I need to have a canine friend. Lately, I get kinda lonely by myself.

I like kids and ball games and walks around the neighborhood. Hey, I might even enjoy a swim. I am part Lab, you know! Not the hyper, goofy kind...the loving, stay by your side, best friend kind of Lab. I am so over the crazy puppy antics!

So---how about a get-together? We can meet and hang around. We can have some fun and then I can go home with you. It won't be easy at first cause we will all have to adjust, but we'll be family. It is what my dreams are made of! See ya soon?

Tessa is a super cute and friendly girl She enjoys playing with toys, sitting on your lap, walking off leash and riding in the car. She knows the commands, come, wait (almost), car, stay close and sit. She is so proud of herself when she sits right away.

Tessa plays well with big dogs and isn't afraid to wrestle with them if they enjoy it.

She likes kids and has a playful spirit. She is very entertaining to watch. She will stalk a leaf and then fly through the air to "get" the leaf. She loves to carry around toys, sticks and balls. She doesn't destroy soft toys, just carries them around.

Tessa is fond of blankets and likes little beds. She settles nicely in her little bed when asked.
