Professional Dog Training Classes

Austin Dog Alliance classes employ proven, positive, science-based training methods, tailored to meet your – and your dog’s – unique needs. The positive, results-based curriculum makes learning as fun for your pet as it is for you. Classes are intentionally small, allowing for the most personal attention and a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

Classes include: dog manners, puppy power hour, pet therapy, lure coursing, nose work, agility, tricks, rally, reactive dog rehabilitation and more. Seminars include: pet therapy, bow wow reading dogs, autism 101 and understanding PTSD.

Nestled within seven acres of woodlands and fields, the Austin Dog Alliance New Hope Ranch includes plenty of room to train on-leash and off in a shady, relaxed setting. Alliance instructors encourage the whole family, including children, to attend classes and take part in the learning experience. Our welcome center features free wi-fi, coffee, magazines, toys and books.

Austin Dog Alliance instructors are certified (CPDT-KA) thru the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. To be eligible for the certifying exam, instructors must teach for a minimum of 300 hours and provide references from a veterinarian, a client and another dog trainer.  Therapy team evaluators and instructors each have over 1000 hours of volunteer experience with their own certified therapy dog.

We look forward to welcoming you.
